After prolonged use, the foam rollers on any stencil roller applicator will become worn from abrasion and clogged with pigment residue. The Felt Wicks with feed ink to the roller surface also become clogged with pigment after extended use. When the roller shows signs of excessive wear or begins to perform poorly, it should be replaced and a new felt wick should be installed.
